Season 70 of the UAAP is yet to come, and already the drama is grinding, grinding, grinding. Much of the fireworks—that we're still hoping won't go off—will center around a ruling issued today by the governing body. A quick powwow with my beloved Coach Joe and The Coach a while ago did nothing to pacify me. Not that The Coach wants me calm: He knows I am at my most percipient and formidable in a fight.
Nobody messes with my boys. Nobody.

i have read about the "Soc Rivera Rule" on various message boards myself and i could only say one thing about it- the rule is plain STUPID.
i just can't believe that a rule that is obviously detrimental to the entire league has just been approved by the "honorable" members of the UAAP board. i am outraged by the blunt stupidity of the board members and that one corrupt guy who pushed for this rule to satisfy only his personal interests.
a sad day for the UAAP indeed.
